Food Safety and Quality

In food transportation, every process is under our full control from start to finish. With seriousness and responsibility...

Food logistics requires seriousness and responsibility.

Why Food Safety?

The responsibility we carry is significant. Even the slightest break in the cold chain system can have serious consequences for human health.

Transporting or storing food products under incorrect temperature conditions causes them to lose valuable vitamins and leads to significant bacterial growth. These bacteria can result in serious illnesses that pose a threat to human health. With our temperature-controlled logistics services, which we consider the most important link in the food supply chain, your products are stored in facilities operating under chilled, cold, or frozen regimes. Our dual-temperature and multi-compartment vehicles, capable of carrying multiple shipments in a single vehicle, ensure that your products are transported at the required temperature regime, guaranteeing food safety from farm to fork.

Our Food Safety Management Certifications

We take pride in being one of the pioneering companies to provide services with Quality and Food Safety Management System certifications.

Since 2009, the quality and food safety practices in the products we transport and store with PolarXP have been ensured in compliance with ISO 22000:2005, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018 standards. The key factor behind earning these certifications is the high quality and food safety standards we apply in storing and transporting products to deliver healthy and high-quality food to consumers.

This system, which takes measures to eliminate any potential physical, chemical, or biological hazards that may occur in food from production to the final consumer, is also incorporated into food-related laws and regulations in many developed countries worldwide.
